different tire sizes
#1
I just bought a P-700 and love my machine. The only complaint that I have is the stock tires. I am thinking of the mud lites. My question is can I run 26-12-12 on the rear and 25-8-12 on the front. My dealer told me I SHOULD be able too but other people say this will be harmfull when I run in 4x4. What should I do?

It will be very hard to steer in 4x4.
It will have nasty drag in 4x4 (power loss).
It will cause a lot of stress over time, especially if you leave it in 4x4 on the pavement.
For these reasons I feel it is not a good idea.
You can fit 28" tires on it with stock wheels. Don't worry about clearace. Why would you cripple your machine intentionally by getting different size tires?
