i'm curious too. bent my stockers right when they came out-couldn't find any at the time so i went with renthals 400ex bend. way better than stock and i've wrecked a couple of times since and they are still true. i'd like to try those twin walls or fat bars???? i don't know, the ones with no crossbar. i'm sure i've been no help to you, just yapping.

No problem.
The only one's I have seen that say specifically for the V are the Trailtech X bar's.
Does any one know if any 7/8" bar's will work?
And also if any handgaurd's for 7/8" bard will work also?
Thanks Doc.

I have Renthal "atv racer" bend bars, with Acerbis Rally 2 handguards. The Renthals are definitely a welcomed improvement in comfort and you can also get rid of those blister causing grips at the same time.

Doctor everything swaps over no problem, however you want to this job very carefully and you need to do the shifter side first!! Very important otherwise you will have a heck of a time believe me. The shifter gizmo and the throttle gizmo both have small little nubs on the inside that rest in a small hole in the stock bars so that they don't turn. You can either sand down these small burrs or drill a small hole in your new bars to match the stoock ones. New 1 1/8 bars are ver light and the strongest out there believe me, I race hare scrambbles and have wacked my new bars and rolled with no problem. Good luck!!

I put the trailtech bars 1 1/8 and the speedo on my KFX700, got the whole setup, bars/clamp/speedo from sanddunerider off ebay for $230 shipped. You do have to relocate the key and drill a small hole for the tabs on both the right brake level assembly and the shifter/choke assembly. Probably took me an hour or so to do the swap but i love'm, so much easier to steer. This link shows a pic plus some custom air intake/box mods i did.

hey hemi,

how do you like the computer. Thinking of getting one. Is the speedo easy to read in direct sunlight? What about shady woods? Is it hard to hook up?

Also, where can I get one. I guess the one you bought was a one time deal huh?

hey dawg,

The speedo is great, it is easy to read in the daylight but kinda tuff at night, the light only stays on for about 4 seconds but it has a lot of useful functions speed, top speed, avg speed, distance, stop watch, oil/maintence reset etc. It was really easy to install. If your looking to get one though i'd wait until after the new year, from what they are saying the new version will have several other functions as well as a tach, i may have to upgrade when it comes out if it has a tachometer. As for a one time deal??? Dan may have more or can get them, if your interested drop me a line and i'll give you his email and you can email him direct or look on ebay for user "sanddunerider" and you should be able to contact him, tell him i sent ya.
