Default 28" mudzilla's

I used to have 28-8-12 on the front and 28-10-12 on the back and there were not clearance problems except a minor rub in the front on the headlight when using ITP wheels (and shocks were bottoms out on a bump). I sold the ITP wheels and got douglas wheels because they were the correct width for the tire and the bead protectors worked better on the douglass wheels (the 8" wide mudzulla was not made for a 7" wide wheel). The douglas spacing eliminated that rubbing. With ITP wheels, the front beads kept getting sticks and rocks stuck in them because the tire was on a rim that was too wide and the bead protector had a gap between it and the rim. Douglas fixed this.

It looked like I could have use wider tires on my 650, like the 28x12-12 on the rear, and I was going to try the 28x10-12 on the front. I never did it, since I got smaller mudrunners I get stuck a bit more but I can ride a lot better in between.

Mudzilla's are incredible tires in mud, but they will slow you down a lot. they don't ride that bad, and they don't handle bad either. But they are heavy. Forget jumping.
