As cars are now all quads in the future will be fuel injected, like the new cannondale. I really like that becaude you wouldnīt have to adjust the carburator everytime you put a modification, I wonder why they didnīt do the new yamaha fuel injected.
But also I have heard that is more difficult to make modificatons, like pipes to motors that are fuel injected.

So what do you think of this?

How will fuel injection add power? It's the same principle as a carburater, just more efficient..you can only put so much fuel in a cylinder..period...before you run rich..FI won't change that..

Later,

Adding an EFI system would definitely improve efficiency and add to HP. My guess would be the only reasons they haven't implemented it on many other bikes is:

1) Research and development costs would trickle down to the consumer and possibly make the bike less desirable due to cost?

2) Perhaps the manufacturer doesn't have the technology, time, or engineering capabilities to add an EFI system to a new bike yet?

3) Maybe they have something completely new on the drawing board that will blow away today's EFI system?
