Default new cdi for v-force scary thought

anybody sat down thought about what the cdi will do if it keeps the timing advanced all through rpm gonna be one scary ride with all that power threw the rpms my theory keeps timind advanced its gonna fire more on its highest compression which helps because now when it gets up in rpm timing retards so not firing at full compression so your power falls off with new cdi only thing got chance in drag race a fully done up banshee

Why are they letting DG let one out for the v force but not the P650?

The Vforce igniter keeps 28 degrees evn at high speed. It does not fall off at 6500 rpm like the prairie.I have an offset timing key in mine giving it 3 more degrees, along with high comp pistons, still no detonation.

Helix

Where did you get high compression pistons for your V? We are in the process of a port, polish and cam change and really want higher comp pistons as well. Oh, by the way I did add your plate and clutch kit as well. Now the clutch is ready for more horsepower. Thanks

Ken

I have heard that you can order new Wiesco pistons 2mil overbore for the 650 and they slide right in the V Force changing it to a 11:1 ratio. More bang for not too much. Add this with web cams, duals, a snorkle for more air in and a new ignition (CDI) this winter you will awaken the beast inside!!! Really this machine will come too life i believe.

Kawi is correct, the pistons we used were Wiseco. The ones that are 2 mm over for 650 are stock bore for the v

Helix what other mods have you done? How big of a difference did you notice from the piston change and so forth on your other mods?
