shotgun, then if the v fires by a speed sensor that triggers fire why couldnt u hook up aftermarket ignition such as msd or etc. seems the speed sensor triggers fire it would send signal to any cdi or ignition to send spark to spark plug or am i wrong anybody got an answer

i think it was someone trying to sell cdi,s that said it would not work

the speed sensor is for a limiter on power at low speeds
I have said before there is more to top end then just timing

their are more inputs to the p-cdi then the v but the same outputs!!!

Red;

your right there is a lot more to top end than just timing, but thats a start. of course you would need valve work, clutching, big bore kit, and of couse a different cam grind, maybe different cam timing, Get you degree wheel out.

HELIX,

Can you give advice on how you did this?

yeah,yeah, i'm reading about 3 and 6 degree keys here. i'm not educated on all the timing technical stuff, what i want to know is how much difference (seat of the pants) a 3 or 6 the key will make? does the power come on differently than stock? where do get one? thank you for any help, i wouldn't know that any of this stuff exsisted if it weren't for this board. you don't see this stuff in dirtwheels. hehe.
