I will be placing a mojave carb. on my lakota. Does anyone know what jet I should use. Thanks

There is a guy on here 98Lakota that has done a lot of mods to his machine he might be able to help you. There also is a guy that lives near New Orleans (can't remember his name) that is very knowledge about Lakota's. 98 will know who I am talking about. Why do you want to put a carb from a Mojave on anyway?

 

I have heard that the Mojave carb will really help the lakota, but I haven't tried it yet. Gaff is the guy NTHEWND is talking about. You can try to send him a PM. I don't think he gets on here much anymore, but he will be glad to help you. He was supposed to send me a MoJo carb, but I never received it.

 

Yeah!!! Gaff his name and i wouldn't mess around with him. I bought some stuff from here about 6 months back and he never sent the stuff and swore to me that he would send my $$$$ back but i stiff haven't got it. Good luck with your Lakota

 

If that is the case, give him a call. Gaff is a great guy. He would not intentionally do that to you. He's had a new baby and he works off shore for weeks, or more, at a time. Send him a PM just in case he comes back. I imagine he comes back from time to time.

I thought he was a great guy also..... i pay-pal'd him 50 bucks for a few parts ans nothing in return. I talked with him about 10 times through e-mail before that happened and about 10 times after and he told me numerous times that he will refund my money. I can honestly say that i gave Dave every chance and i was extremely patient. I have a 01 lakota sport that he was walking me through some mods with and i told people about this (great guy) on the forums. Maybe i'll send him another e-mail and see what happens..just wanted to clear this up.

Don't think I was leading, but I was out there. I ended up eleventh
