Does anyone know if the new carbon fiber plastic on the new '04 KFX 700 are available for purchase seperatly? Thx, Rich A

And yes, I know that it isn't real carbon fiber, and because it isn't, has anyone seen one? is it just decaled or is it accually the color of the plastic and again, is it available? Thx, Rich A

 

Hey putt...havent heard from you in a while..where ya been? but yeah the color is like the P650 camo...it is not a decale...and the plastic maybe available..the bet way to find out is to go and ask a dealer

 

I seen one at a GNCC race (not a decal).... looks pretty cool until after the race, the guy tore it up. I heard in the neighborhood of $800 from someone here on the forum.

 

One of he dealers here in Nashville has one. But it already had a deposit/sold tag on it.
I only looked at for a short time and it looked to me like a decal over the plastic.

 

Seen one at the Kawi dealer here. It's not a decal it is like a laminate , normal plastic with very thick carbon fiber look a like (is textured also) laminate over the plastic.I don't really like it , it would just **** me off when I tear it up if I had it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] So I'll just keep my orange plastic and when it get's too bad I will go to green to have something diff then if it is cheaper will go with the lava red.
