Default Limited Edition Plastics Breaks Easy

pulverized,

I see your from sand hill country so you might be ok… here in PA we ride mostly tight woods and smacking a few trees and a few rolls are almost guaranteed every ride.
People look at my bike wow that’s only 5 months old (plastic looks bad).

Anyway I don’t mean to worry anyone just spreading the word to take some extra care with that cool looking plastic.

Ride on…

RJ,
You are right, I do most of my riding in the sand and desert. To be honest I didn't get a chance to try the V in the mountains before the snow hit so I guess my fenders are safe until next spring

Hey Guys,
My step bro has a brand new KFX700 limeted edition in the gray.. whatever its called.. but anyway.. we all went riding last night in the snow and he was blowing donuts and hit some dirt and flipped it. So depressing - anyway.. All the plastic on the right is broke, after one flip- No flex on those plastics at all.. The back rear is literally gone and the front right is all cracked. It made me wanted to cry.. it was literally maybe the 5th ride on it. So yah.. The plastics deff. break easily.

That limited plastice in the different colors will break even on hot days and is covered under warranty. The orange and green holds up real good. Wait to you go and check out the prices for what you broke. Maier is supposed to be coming out with plastic for the v-force after the 1st of the yr. But, remember that the greens one's are faster.

There are issues with the limited edition plastic; it is too brittle. I think there is some sort of baking process to imbed the custom colors; it must change the characteristics of the plastic.
