Default Changing front sprocket on Lakota?

I bought a 13 tooth sprocket for my Lakota and haven't been able to get the nut off that holds the old one on. Is there a secret to getting that nut off or am I going to have to rent an impact wrench?

I've done it using a 1/2'' breakover bar and a shop hammer, but an impact is really the best way to go. If you don't have access to one, you might remove the front sprocket cover and bend the nut lock washer back yourself, then take it to any local shop to have the nut removed.
