Default Lakota carb. problem. Please help!

alright, I am having this problem again. Gas keeps leaking every time it warms up. I have already checked the float and needle. What does anyone else suggest?

What all have you done so far?

Did you check the float to see if it has gas in it which would make it sink.

Float level?

Worn needle and/or seat?

Dirty fuel? I run an inline filter.

O.k first of all, the gas is leaking (non-stop) from the bottom hose. I have made sure there is no gas in the float, have made sure the neele isn't worn and have also checked the fuel level. Now what?

Anybody? What should the fuel level be? Every time the gas needle is on, it spills from the bottom hose. Any suggestions?????????

Hey guys, thanks for the info, I finally got it running w/out leaking. I just took it all apart and cleaned it really good again. Don't know, it may have gotten some sand or something!

Put a gas filter on it to prevent this from happening again.

It's $3-$6 well spent.

All bike shops will sell a small filter just for bikes/atv's. Just tell the counter clown that you want to put a fuel filter in between the tank and carb. I "think" the Lakota uses 1/4 inch line.

The automotive parts places always have the old style VW filters on the counter. These work good if you have the room since they are kinda long.
