I have a KFX 440, FMF Q, Wiseco big bore kit, UNI air cleaner, Dyno-jet jet kit, Hto Cams; intake and exhaest, 22" Maxxis Raz'r II tires. I also have a speedometer and before I installed the big bore kit the quad would do 76 mph, Now I can top 100mph, is that fast enough? Also, before I did the kit I walked my buddy's V force by a bike length in about 100 yards. The new KFX 450 Should really haul, and it will have Reverse and e-start!

you have a kfx 400 that will top out at more than 100 miles per hour???
thats a VERY special machine you have there...

 

Put a turbo on your 400

Make it a draw through carb setup.

Could probably find the turbo in a junkyard.

 

just so you know sparks is WAY behind schedule...months...
your going to be waiting for a long time...but hes worth waiting for if you have an extra quad to ride during the downtime...

 

I like my quad as it is but I am liking it less and less everytime one of my friends fly by me. Sparks has some interesting options but they are, for the most part, out of my budget. I found a 450 kit by yoshimura that ranges from 1399 without eshaust to 2499 with exhaust and assembled. My guess it that this kit is all I realy need and its probably about the same thing sparks would do for my for twice the price however it doesn't come with a carb so I would need to add another $500 to that price or suffer a stock carb.
