On ebay they offer a 4 yr extended warranty for the Prairie 700 for $399. Has anyone purchased the warranty from this dealer? Here is the link to ebay:

Bought mine from mulebarn.......936-348-9190. I think they are a little cheaper. I believe several in here have bought from mulebarn. I would give them a call first.

 

I bought my extended warranty on Ebay from Koups (Koups.com). Thus far, it has proven well worth the money because I haven't had to use it once. And this is why I actually bought the warranty...to keep my Prairie from breaking down.
I'm very sure that had I decided not to buy the EW I would have needed to have the engine totally rebuilt, the trasmission replaced, and the entire machine re-wired on the very 1st day of the 7th month of ownership.

anyone know if theres a certain time limit you have to purchase the extended warranty? i've got papers finally from kaw offering some extended warrantys but dont have the cash to toss out to them right now, the v is about.. 8 months or so old now.. i didnt see any time restrictions on the papers, just checking if anyone else knows.
i'd definitely like to get one, like my truck, had so much stuff done to it that was covered under extended warranty, i'd have hated to shell out the 3500 for the transmission rebuild , haha.<dodge tuff right>

 

Your time limit is within you factory 6 months , after that your s.o.l.

your quad is 8 months old you r s.o.l to late can't get one.

 

from the day you buy the quad you have 6 months to purchase the extended warranty.

 

I bough the one off of ebay for $399 a few weeks ago for my 700 and had no probelms. I got all of the paperwork from the dealer and Kawasaki within a week. It was through Ron Greene Sports Center and my second purchase through them. It certainly was way better than paying the $700 the dealers here wanted...

You have to buy before your factory warrenty is up - 6months from purchase.

 

hmm, thats what is weird. i bought this thing back in may, got some papers from kaw saying the factory warranty was up in 3/04, so im like wtf. maybe it depends on when they process whatever paperwork or something. dunno, im gonna try to snag one for 400 bucks off ebay, thats cheap as hell and sounds legit. thanks for replying also.
