Some of you know I am throwing around ideas to improve the power of my KFX400 even going so far as trading it in on a Raptor or a KFX700 but after a bit of reading last night I am beginning to wonder about the Cannondale Glamis its supposed to be the fastest stock quad you can buy and it comes set up for the dunes but thats about all I know. Anyone know more i.e. price, reliability, rideability on other surfaces than sand....?

I have never ridden a Glamis but I think they are a Blaze with sand tires (not positive though) and different plastic. Cannondales are slowly making a comeback now because ATK is rebuilding motor and doing reliability mods. Check out www.atkusa.com

Check out CannondaleRiders.com's forum area for lots of great information on the Cannondale quads. Yes Cannondale Corp. did go out of business but Dinli and ATK have purchased the rights to make replacement parts (ATK) and build new model Dales (Dinli). The Glamis is a great quad and I owned an 03 Cannondale Blaze, but I have issues with their reliability. I'd go with a Banshee for the dunes or a VForce for double-duty. Both great quads.

The Cannodale Glamis is a Speed outfitted for the dunes i.e. soft suspension, sand tires, and a flag. It is being tauted as the fasted stock quad you can buy but thats about all the info I could find on it. It would make sense that they have gone bankrupt because I haven't located a single dealer in southern california yet.
