i got this 1986 klf185 from a guy who had gotten frustrated with electrical problems. he hacked the wiring up pretty bad. i got most of it figured out, but the igniter unit. 4 wires are obviuos. 2(black and blue go to the pulser coil. 2 go to the stator. that leaves the big question, where do the black/white, green/white, and the black/yellow go. i think the black/yellow is grounded but i'm not sure. i have gotten the atv-1 book but there is no diagram. does anyone have a wiring diagram or a quad like this one they can look at and help a brother out. he had 3 different units and i can't get any of them to fire. the ignition coil is a single wire set up. is that even the right coil? thanks in advance. see ya when i see ya

 

the GREEN/WHITE goes to the Coil And the BLACK/YELLOW goes to the ground at the coil hold down i will have to check on the BLACK / WHITE ) Do you by any chance have a exter CDI initer if so email me at krugs2@hotmail.com i need one thanks and i will get back with you on the othere wiresText
