try some Son of a Gun. It's in a yellow container. your local Wal-Mart should have it. If that don't work. Try Mothers Plastic Polish. You'll just have to search around for that stuff. Around here Napa sells it, but don't know bout where you live. Hope this helps

Buy American, America!

Just tried the Novus Plastic products, 1 & 2... Excellent results! I also ordered Number 3 but didn't need it because I didn't have heavy scratches, although I'll bet it works as well as it's sister products. My Prairie looks better then the day it was delivered!
I should warn you though that it can be time consuming and next time I'll try using it with an orbital buffer on low speed.

Happy New Year everyone!

If you guys in here have any aluminum on your quad (for example- nerf bars, or aftermarket bumper) use Mothers Mag & Alunium polish. After you polish them about 3 times they will turn chrome. I did it to my A-arm guards, DG bumper, & nerfs it looks really kool. try it out. The mothers will run you around $3-$4. Caution: it will turn your rags and your hands black, but it'll wash off easy. You apply the Mothers to a rag and start polishin until whatever your polishin starts to turn black. After it turns black take another rag and whipe it off to a brilliant shine that ollks really trick. Hope this helps u guys out. Any ques. ask.

When you bring it home for the first time, take a pretty picture of it. Then take out a pair of vise grips, grab a hold of the front fender and break a chunk off. The scratches will never bother you again.

After spending $7000 plus on my quad, I don't know about most of you out there, but I seriously doubt, I'll be breaking off pieces of the bodywork...

That was just an attempt at a little humour. The Novus polish sounds pretty good, I am ordering some also.

Default getting back the factory shine on plastic????????

Here's a "brain dead" story for ya......back before Christmas (my original post was Dec. 18th) I researched all over to find the best stuff to bring back the shine on my plastic. I found this Novus polish and ordered it, tried it out and was happy to see it worked and didn't waste my money. Well, I stopped by my buddies Motorcycle shop today (I've known this guy since 5th grade....I'm 39 now) and sitting on the shelf behind the counter is NOVUS 1, 2 and 3. He tells me he has always carried this stuff and he highly recommends it (street bike racers evidently use it all the time for their cowlings and windshields). I have been in his shop 100 times and do you think I would have asked him about this stuff or noticed it on the shelf?? What a dumb A#% !!!! Anyway, moral of the story is sometimes what your looking for is right under your nose.
