I know what you are going thru! Yes there is a fix! What ya got to do is 1st try this. If you have access to a buffing machine the kind you see at the detailers shop. Thats what your gona need. Then you need to get a 3M Hookit Pad. It is yelloe and foam with velcrow on one side. Then you need a polishing bonnett that fits the Hookit Pad holder. Its usly white and it looks like lams wool. Then you need to look in you local yellow pages foe companys that sell acrilic plastic, glues ect. They will more than likely have what is called a rough bar. They come in 2 versions. White for buffing and a maroon collored one that is ment to be like a coumpound.
Now that you have the stuff and the pad in on and the eletric power is connected get ready! When you hit the trigger on the polisher it will be tourquy and probaly spin pretty fast. Dont fret! Apply the whit rought to the pad put a lot on the pad this is called loading it up! OK now you need to move this quickly over the plastic with very little pressure just kinda glasing over it! you will start to see the cloudyness starting to go away. dont stay on it too long or you will start to melt the plastic. Take you time go slowly and you will see it will look like BRAND NEW no kidding.
If this meathod doesnt work then you will need to wet/ndry sand paper the area starting at 400,600,800.then use the maroon rough then use the white rough to bring to a high high luster. You will notice the plastic will have a lot of static eletricicy COOL!!!!!
Thats it.

Got my Novus 1 & 2 yesterday and tried it out this morning. I could not tell a difference.. still looks the same to me. Anyone else have bad luck w/ the Novus? Maybe i should have ordered the # 3, but that doesnt explain why it didnt take out the small scratches. I followed all the directions that came w/ it. What am i doing wrong?! lol

You might need the No. 3.... And I spent all day on mine, so don't expect fast results... You may need to use an orbital buffer... If they come from the factory shinny, then there is a way we can get it looking that way too.

Well i was thinking that i might need # 3, but even if i did the #2 should have got out the light scratches like its suppost to. I took my time on mine too. I spent like 30 min on one spot thinking that maybe i was doing it wrong or maybe it took time for it to work. Guess i'll have to try that buffer and see what happens. If the factory can make it shine so can we
