can anyone tell me about cobra exhaust for the mojave. Ive been using Supertrapp but was curious about cobra for my latest Mojave. Is the Jet model more quite then the regular alum. model? Has anyone tried the "sparky" arrestor they offer? Does it just clamp on with a hose clamp and if so is it a mickey mouse rig or a pretty good setup? Can anyone tell me what size head pipe they use and if the system fits properly? Does it have mounts for the stock heat shields?

thanks
89 and 96 mojaves modified to razz

I have Cobra Jet pipes on both of my Mojaves. I would never run a Supertrapp. just my opinion. The Cobra is probabaly the best pipe right now for the Mojave. They fit perfect. The headpipe is an oversided one just like any other pipe. There is no mounts for the heat sheild. you dont' need it, I have never had a problem with burning my leg. It's not the quietest pipe, but it's not as loud as a DG RCM. I have never tried the spark arrester. Do a search for a pipe for a Mojave.
