Shotgun i'am not sure about your directions. If your doing the final adj. how do you make the neutral light go out if you don't let the trans lever move. I thought that the trans. lever is what made the light go out. I took the rod off and now i'am at a point where i get the light off and its not working out so well. Help please.

sledgehammer

once you get the tranmission centered in neutral it just a matter of adjusting the rod, so the shifting lever is in the middle of neutral when it is setting in the notch for neutral..

If you get it adjusted right for one gear, it'll be right for all gears.

Thanks shotgun i had took off the shift guide so it would be easier to move the rod i'll put it back on and take a look at it. I was just not sure about the neutral light going out while you turned the rod. I try to adj. it agian in the daylight to make sure of what iam doing is right. Thanks!
