Holes - How Many & What Diamater??

I've seen alot of different approaches to Nyroc's muffler mod. I want more power but I don't want an extreemely loud muffler.

What's been your experience w/ the Mod?

I put six 1/2 inch holes in my 650 muffler. Make sure you got a bit about 16 inches long. It makes the tone of your quad a lot more throatier and will give you an instant boost on the bottom end.

 

I remeber that nyroc was saying that the p700 has a different muffler and it is not possible to drill holes to improve performance like the 650. but for sure it is possible to remove some rsetriction to any muffler I plan of trying it with my friend p700 but we gone probably remove some baffles insted of drilling, it is pretty easy to see what you have to do after you open it. om my p650 I remove things till I could see the two pipes conecting and I had to rejet from 142/145 to 145/148 and 4turn on the screws I ham now faster then my friend with is p700 ! it was worth it. but by openning the output hole by removing the angle pipe fild with woo it make the bike sound like a low flying helicopter it is real loud.

 

Hmmm, Has anyone sucessfully opened up their P700 Exhaust? Is it in fact different than the P650 muffler?

There seems to be some confusion here. I looked over Nyroc's materials on the muffler mod today and it says the V-force 700 has a different muffler than the P650 and thus, the Nyroc muffler mod probably won't work on the V-force. I think the P650 and P700 mufflers are identical and thus, the Nyroc mod should work fine on the P700. Hope this clears the air.

 

 

in fact I just took a look at nyroc website and he is clearly saying that is the v-700 is different not the p700 wich is kind of logik sorry for the information that was false, the good point is I'm gone try it this week on my friend p700 I already done it to my 650. I'll give you some news about the results !
