Default Busted up Mojave and Lakota Handle Bars

Hey Guys,
Now I am relatively new to the whole ATV thing and recently I went out and bought a 2001 Kawasaki Mojave and a 98 Lakota. I was going to buy a 2003 blaster, but my girlfriend and I decided we both wanted to go ridding, so I bought her a lakota and me the mojave, because I had experience on both of them and liked them both. What do you guys think of each? I heard lakota is now a sport model, hows that model?
OK, now for my post. Last week when we had the snow storm here in the Northeast, i went riding expecting I could handle the weather condtions. I guess I was wrong. I slid my mojave on some ice and hit a large tree branch on my right handle bars and they bent in. My girlfriend had to help me get the tree branch on the bars and they were bent. SO after this I was made and I told her I would follow her. So after following here, she hit a patch of ice that was cover by the snow and of course, lightning stikes twice, but this time, instead of only bending the handle bars a little like i did, she bent the left side and bent them back towards the seat.
Do you guys think that I might have messed the steering up other than the handle bars, everything seems to be okay, but I don't know, because I am new to this. Also, can I bend the handle bars back some how? Or do you think I should just buy some new ones. I don't think mine, the mojave are that bad, still rideable, but hers are busted. How much are new ones? Are they easy to put on, if I wanted to do it myself? You don't know how pissed I am because they are both my ATV's and she doesn't want to ride anymore because she is all afriad, so now I don't know what I am gonna do, but I want to fix it and maybe sell it.
Can anyone help me?

You can get bars cheap. Starting at $20.00. Buy new grips too since you prolly wont be able to get them off. Make sure they are atv grips and not bike grips. You will need to file off the location tab on the switch box, Other than that it's a piece of cake.

You may want to buy some bars that are taller. I did and they are much more comfy.
