Not to be a wise-acre, but they C-series aren't even close in weight. They are far heavier than the stock P700 rims, though they are much stronger.

This guy didn't swap front, for rear wheels, did he? There should be NO clearance problems, until you get up into 28".
ITP "C" series wheels will give 1" POS offset. 2" wider track.
Something is very wrong. That tire should clear, even with stock rims.

Sounds like tires were mounted backwards on the rims, so when the tires are put on the ATV with the tread is going in the right direction, the rim is on backwards and the offset is backwards.
Easy to tell, are the valve stems for the air pointing out?

I think I may have the answer:
When the P650 first came out, the only aftermarket rims were the steel rims (I think made by itp, but not positive) . These were designed for Prairie 300, 400, and bayou which have the same 4/137 bolt pattern. The offset made the rear right tire rub real close to the gas tank shroud. I had 27" 589's on these type of rims and I had to use spacers because there was only about 1/2" of clearance, and they would rub on turns.
This topic was a big issue when the P650 came out.

I'm wondering why some guys are experiencing tire rub and some not...with the same set-ups ?
Myself...I have 27" mudlites on stock rims, running 4# of air front and back...and DO have slight tire-rub on the gas tank protective cover...although, there is some mud jambed down in between the protective cover and the tank itself, leaving about an inch or so gap between the two. I'm wondering if THIS is the reason some rub and some don't ???
