Anybody having trouble with the plastic on the 04 camo?? Very disappointed with mine-it seems very brittle. Love the power-hate the tires and plastic durability. Will probably be putting 26" Mud Lites on once X-mas is all paid for.

I have camo too, with no problems yet. I have bent in the cheesy front bumper. Gonna have to make a new one now.

Here's a little tip for ya that may help you save the front fenders and headlights should you hit something! Take the 2 screws that go through the bumper into the bottom of the head lights, one per side, this will allow the front to flex if you hit something. In one of our harescramble races we ran 2 new Prairie 700's, one with the screws in and mine without, both quads came in after the race with them cheap new bumpers bent way outta shape, the quad with the screws still in also had a broken fender and the headlight was broke,,, mine was unharmed!

It could be that the cold weather up there has something to do with it. I wonder if the Camo has a different plastic composition to it than the red or green.

The Camo is just the green plastic with the Camo sprayed on. They must have a big bubble jet unit or something. I purchased mine from a fella that has a connection at the plant that does it for Kawasaki. It came with tape on the under side of all the holes, Shifter, accessorie outlet, sctrew holes and so on. There was some minor overspray on the underside also. Tough stuf for sure.
