Rode P700 and loving it!

Oops my bad. DOn't hit the enter key....
I took out our new P700 on Saturday, along with the Raptor and a Warrior. I must say I was very, very impressed with it's power, smoothness, quiet sound, engine braking, and even jumping.
We went to Hollister HIlls SRVA, and it was a bit of a mud bath, but the wide wheel wells protested me well. On Hollister's rather bumpy trails, it performed outstanding, providing a very smooth ride. At the track it hooked up and handled the jumps, and I can't beleive it, better and more comfortably than my Raptor...
I was able to stay ahead of the Warrior and the Raptor on the trails the whole time, while they were busy shifting, I was roosting the mud slop all over them. And never even put it in 4WD.
I've ben reading every thing I could prior to buying the P700, and even though I was well read up on the subject, you never really know how something is going to be, until you actually ride it yourself. I must say I was more surprised and pleased than I had imagined I would be...
My only concern now is that I may not want to ride my Raptor anymore.......It's a good thing my kid loves it, cause he doesn't think he's going to like the Prairie,.....I keep tellin him, he'll love it....

OH yeah, engine breaking ,...awesome. Sometimes while riding fast down hill, as I let off the gas, I thought I should hit my breaks only to let the guys behind me know I was slowing....AWESOME>

You think it hooks up well now, mount some Holeshot ATRs on it. Big, BIG difference in traction. Also they work well in the mud...atleast better than the stockers. I got a set on C series and it looks better too.

Welcome to the club!! Both my 250R and V-Force spend more time indoors then out! Because of The
Prairie700!! My two cents on Tires: I started with the ITP's and C- series but because of very ruff conditions changed over to the Maxxis Big Horns and Douglas. If your riding hard pack, mud and soft terrain the ITPs are GREAT, But if there are a lot of Rocks go with the Maxxis and watch out for the c-series because they crack. The only changes Ive made so far have been the EPI Pink Spring, Pipe, Jetting and Opened up the air box a bit. One Word~WOW!! When Racing a lot has to do with the Rider So Im not going to say its faster then a Raptor or most Sport Quads But It sure can fly and there a lot of sport quads behind me when Im going off!~lol I think The Prairie700 a uitilty quad that doesnt know it is!~LOL

I like the Maxxis BIG HORNS and feel they are a much better tire when the going gets tough! And the Ride is Great! Where I ride is very Rocky!! And I Had Problems with my ITP's holding up! Maybe the rubber is softer and because the tread pattern isn't as aggressive the Ride is a little smother? But most important to me is Durability!! Just Check out the aggressive styling and Look to see who is using Big Horns in the ATV racing world? Ive never heard ANY legitimate complaints so far About BIG HORNS! I don't wanna start anything its just Ive gone through so many Hole shots!, 25" Mud Lites! (Stay away from them!) ATRs, and For the Track and Lite Trails there a good choice, But never seemed to be as good or held up well when the going got tough! Tires like GBC or Maxxis I just beleave are better made for ruff conditions. I guess I wont be geting any sponcership from ITP any time soon?LOL. ~Chris~ Just my two cents worth!
