P700 computer reset
#1
Had a little fun this weekend battery got low. Computer went in to fail soft and would only rev to about 2500 same as reverse(approx). The belt light flashes at about two or three times a sec. Called local dealer as I was in the field he told me how to rest the computer. Easy
1 find the two connectors under the plastic by the shifter lever, one black, the other is grey.
2 take them apart with key off swap black to grey and grey to black.
3 follow the wire from the belt switch (square box ontop of belt cover with two wires coming out :believe to be black/white and brown) disconnect the plug. this should be in the same area as the other two connectors.
4 now turn the key on but DO NOT START watch light will fash fast then slow down
5 turn key back off
6 reconnect everything the way it was black to balck, grey to grey and reconnect the belt switch.
7 Start engine should be back to normal.
Work great for me and I had a Great ride
P.S. dealer told me the Kaws are real touchy about the voltage, And its a bad IDEA to jump start with a other vehicle. Battery chargers are better or recoil start Yea Right.

Hole shots work good. Have a set of Mudlite also not the same.
Ive had the ATRs in the mud and sand(river sand bars)
The fronts have a habit of balling up in sticky stuff but clean well in four wheel drive, two wheel drive is the only problem.
They bite well in about everything but they arent my mudlites by no means.
Iam impressed though with the ride and their ability handle about all terrains.

Have you noticed the mudlites wearing quickly?
My buddy has them on his Prairie 300 and they seem soft. Will my p700 just eat them up and how do they compare on hookup versus the ATR's?

Ive started noticing the wear on the Mudlites but I have around 600 or 700 miles on them. Some of its on paved roads getting to riding areas. Didnt notice the wear till we started riding the paved road. Plus we ride lots of rock in a couple State Parks.
The Mudlites hookup hard in sand or soft mud but the ATRs are good all round, even mud and sand they do a good job. Iam still impressed with them and they havent left me stranded yet in anything but the belly dragging stuff( ok fender dragging stuff) I wanted a tire that rides well and does a good job in about everything and they have seemed to fit that bill. When the mud or snow gets real deep and soft I will switch to my Mudlites.
The ATRs will thow a real nice roust in slimmy mud and keep you moving. Wheel speed is needed in sticky stuff to keep them clean though.

I havent had to reset my computer when hooking up the winch. He said its the low voltage when trying to start and the spike if jump starting that freaks the computer.
