P650 VS P700 POWER DIFF
Skun, There's not much Difference between both ATV's as far as I'm concern, Just fix a few problem with the Clutch and belt, change the front but it's much more snappy on the gas. I was talking to a Kawy Rep from the state and I guess they only add a few HP.
Good Bike overall...

NewBie's as well

P650 VS P700 POWER DIFF
Skun, I read in a past thread that You top at 90km/h???
I'm still breaking my newly aquisition and I top it at 99km/h with 27. Also I have a pal with same ATV but more Milleage and his top at 106 km/h with 27.
I'm looking at a New clutch System from Dalton Industries out of Truro NS.
Good luck but I would get it check to see if the Belt is alright.

P650 VS P700 POWER DIFF
Well there is a huge power difference on the dyno, and P650 makes about 27rwhp on the dyno, while a P700 is making 34-35rwhp. By far the strongest stock 4x4 atv out. We've got our P650 up to about 33 now with the module, pipe, jet kit, clutch kit, and K&N and it will give a p700 a run for its money!

P650 VS P700 POWER DIFF
IMO, the 700, has a little more bottom end power, much more power through the midrange, & because of the same retarded CDI, about the same top end power, as a stock 650... but, no where near the power of my modified '02... of course you could do any of these mods to the 700, & get even more power...

P650 VS P700 POWER DIFF
I just responded to his subject on another thread.
I can tell you that I recently drag raced my '03 P650 (which is slightly modified and has 25 inch mudlites) against a stock P700 (all stock except for 26 inch mudlites). I am happy to report that I beat him out of the hole by 1/2 length and maintained it to about 20 or 25 mph. Then the P700 let off the gas b/c the ground looked too bumpy for him to continue racing me. We were on a grassy pipeline at the time. Since most of my clutch mods are simply stock P700 parts (belt/primary spring)...the main difference between our quads was that I have a holeshot module and he has 1 inch taller tires (but the same brand). I actually think the holeshot module is the reason my quad beat his out of the hole.
I also have to believe that the P700 would most likely catch up to me and/or pass me if we had gone farther before he let off the gas. But I really doubt that his P700 would leave me by several quad lenths given the fact that his is still stock. I do recognize that more cc's should mean more power/speed, so I'm quite sure the P700 would have beaten me out of the hole if he had the holeshot module installed. Just my 2 cents!
BTW, I would love to trade up to a P700...but don't want to take a significant loss when I sell mine to only get 64 extra cc's. I'm kinda hoping Kawasaki will upgrade the P700 in the next year or so (EFI?).
Happy trails...

P650 VS P700 POWER DIFF
Skun, I bought my ATV at a local dealership and he made me a deal of a lifetime. There also another place in Balmoral NB; PG sport that gave me an awesome deal. Here in Richibucto, Sealand Sport, Ive got mine for $10,650 (CDN) before tax and that include new 27" mudlites, fairing, seat w/hand warmer, fenders protector, Ramsey winch w/remote and new gun rack camo to match with my camo edition, and more important a 5 years warranty. I check everywhere else in the Maritimes and It was the best deal ...
Good luck
