Should i put a water drain just inside the airbox when i switch to this hose or just say the hell with it?

Since no one has the time or knowledge on this subject I'll just say the hell with the water trap and the hell with asking for advice!

with my v force i cut the wall "water trap thing" down and left an inch high wall. then i driilled a hole at the bottom for a drain in case i get some water in there. not sure that is the right thing to do or not, that's what i did
