Default v force belt deflection adjustment?

my belt has about 1 1/4 deflection. i have put a new primary spring in. so i can get that far. i need to know what shim to get, where to put it, and where to get it. will the dealer have it in stock, if it is the same as the prarie they should have plenty, right?

The shim is inside the the rear pully unit. You will need to remove the pully, compress the spring, remove the snap ring,
shake the little guide pins out of the middle (without losing them!), slide the pullies apart, REMOVE a shim to tighten belt.

As for the Dealer stocking it .... good luck! My dealer doesn't stock anything like that. They don't even stock the belt!!
The answer the phone saying "parts deptment." but they ain't fooling me... they should be saying "order department".

Pretty simple really ... It will be much easier if you have something to compress the
spring with.

Hey VForcer...how do you like your Web Cams? What kind of difference did they make in power?
Did you have to make any adjustments ( fuel, air, etc...) ?

My guess: The cams and with jet changes made about a five horse power difference

About the same as the duals and jet/air box changes did ....
