Default 4X4 selector slow to kick in.

Does anybody as problem with their 4X4 selector's. I find mine kind of slow compare to another ATV like the Grizz. As soon as it kick's in it's work good but. Could it be because i'm still breaking it? (Less than 500 KM)

I'm having the same problem. I'm afraid to start moving until the 4WD indicator comes on, for fear of damaging something. I try to rock it back and forth, ot change it form forward to reverse gear. Do I need to do this, or should I just start driving? AAAAAAAHHH, indecision!

I would guess that you haven't heard any nasty, crunching, metal shearing sound from this?!

no not at all, you feel it a bit when you go from 4wd to 2wd. the only clunk I heard so far was when I got stuck in 2wd and I try to engage the 4wd, I had to spin the back wheels so it could engage but when it did... you can feel that you just did something wrong !!!

If it is like the 650, then the wheels have to be rolling to get it to switch from 4wd to 2wd or 2wd to 4wd. Can not be going over 12 mph or will not switch. I can toggle the switch over 12mph, but it will not change until under 12 mph.

i found that if i go 3-4 mph it will kick in almost imeadiately. i dont have to move the quad to shift out of 4wd.
