Default HELP with mojave upgrades for cam, carb, valves?

Here is what I have for my mojave. a supertrapp pipe (thats what is already on it) I also have a klr rev limiter, and a 38mm pe carb (not yet on the bike). Here is what I want to get for my mojave. I want to get a set of cams (someone tell me which ones are the best to get and where to get them). What springs do I need to get with the cams? What air filter to get? I hear stainless steel valves are good, what about oversized valves (what do you have to do to put oversized valves in the mojave)? What carb is the best for the mojave. Is the 38mm pe the best or is the 400ex carb better (which carb makes the mojave faster)?

I WANT LOTS OF OPINIONS ON THIS MATTER!!!!!

i will give you the first opinion. I would get the 380 lift cams and high rev springs with them. You will also need hardened rockers. any good free flowing filter is ok. remove the stock air box. foam filters will catch dust that a K&N wont (my opinion). stainless valves are good and to use oversize valves the valve seat in the head has to be cut to match the valve. The 38 pe will make good power in the top of the rpm range and may be the best to make the most top speed but will not be as responsive. A 36 mm or a 400ex works better for me. the good thing about the 400ex carb is that it has an accell pump, making it crisp with no hesitation.

you can get any of these parts except a 400ex carb from Greg at CWR. his # is 717 637 1907.
He sell a 36 mm Mikuni VM round slide for use on the mo that is not all that expensive. It is basically just like your PE but in a 36mm. He also has cams, springs, rockers, and oversize valves, along with about anything else you need for a mojave.

That sounds like a good deal I will probably do that. Just one question is the clamp on filter better than the regular filter.
