Default 2004 Kawasaki Prairie 700 Realtree

Hello everyone,

To all the owners of a 2004 Kawasaki Prairie 700 Realtree or Camo, does this machine show scratches like the regular colors, red & green?

I know these machines get marked up in the woods, but I'm just curious.

This well help me decide on which color to purchase.

Thank you for your help,

IronBear..

The color underneath the camo is green, which will match pretty well the camo pattern. So I would say the camo is the one to pick.

Also, I think the red and green P700 are ugly colors, and I personnally think the camo is the best looking one...

No, the camo plastic doesnt show scratches. That is unless you dig into the plastic. The camo pattern is baked on somehow and is very durable. When I took off all those stupid warning stickers a cut into the plastic a small bit and you can't even notice it. Camo is the way to go IMHO.

No scratch so far on mine and I would say got for it, by far better looking then the Green or Aztek Red...

Also the Camo patern is far better.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your feedback, like budxxx and mtd mentioned, I to believe that the camo looks better than the other colors. I'm also very meticulous about an ATV too so this combination would work well for me. When I had my old Prairie, I would spend hours cleaning it.. But I'm like that with everything that I own.

MTD, those tires look nice on your machine. Are the 27" tires wider than the 25" or just taller? How does it handle on hardpack trails, mud, hills, etc, etc.

Thanks again!,

The camo will not show the scratches like the solid, glossy colors. Mine shows the scratches on the black trim, that's all.

Trx450,

Your machine was on Nyroc's web site, right?

Anyway, the camo seems like the way to go. Hopefully, I will be ready to purchase a machine in a few months or so.

Thanks again,

Yep, I THINK that I sent Paul a pic of my new "baby". A very versatile bike. I love it. This is my 3rd KAW V-Twin in a year and a half. I just have that need for speed. LOL

Thanks Iron Bear, I'm very proud of that Baby, the tires are Widder as well the original were 25-8-10 and Rear 25-10-12 but upgrade to 27-10-12 and rear 27-12-12. So far in the Mud, they are excelent, hard pack, can't complaint tires are not too stiff like titan 589MT and for trail, I just love them. I tried many set of tires in the past, I liked the Holeshot, Outlaws for mud and mudlites for good overall tire.

Thanks

MTD
