Need help sourcing parts for KVF 650
Looks like its already time for a rebuild for me, guys.My 02 650 got swamped in the spring, I finished the ride(after cleaning out the airfilter and box, plus checked oil several times with no sign of water in it, at the time).
Anyhow, when it took to smoking like a freight train, my dealer got new pistons and rings installed under the goodtimes protection plan. That lasted 300 km and it was using oil and knocking. Now the crank is supposedly gone and Kaw Ca. doesn't want anything to do with me now.Small surprise there.
Soooooooooo,,,,down to nitty gritty stuff.I need to source a pair of rod kits if I'm going to get 'er running again.I'm hoping to find someone up here in Canuckville to get 'em from but I'll get 'em from the US if I can't.
First this, then the World Juniors................I really hope the rest of the year isn't like this.
