Starts and runs fine until you hit a good bump then starts to run real rough.Sometimes it will keep going if I put some choke to it .Sometimes it just dies .Let it sit for a few seconds starts up runs fine . Just had the water pump replaced was getting water in oil.Anyone run it to this problem.

 

First thing to know is. was it running ok before the water pump was replaced ?? If yes, it means the mechanic did something to make it run ruff. Sounds like something is loose. Check for a loose main battery ground. One Kodiak we have had the same problem when brand new. It would run good as long as the wire touched the engine case, ran bad when it hit bumps and lost contact. I found that the Japs had never put a bolt in the wire to ground the battery. ! bolt and it was a 5 min fix to make it run perfectly. Many mechanics take this ground loose before they work on a Quad.

 

if it sputters backfires and bogs out check your sliders in your carbs.
