I've been hearing rumors of say a KFX450 or Z450..when will it come if it's true?

 

If Suzuki and Kawi share again it will be based on the 450 Dirt Bike and that is coming out this summer. The quad will be released 1 to 2 years after the dirt bike, so in 2005 or 2006 you should see it.

 

In either Dirt Wheels or ATV Action it says maybe this summer, in an article about the Z400.

 

i believe it is supposed to come out but they have to get ahold of a trx450r first so they can look at the frame.lol !!

 

Hee hee Dirt Wheels said.....Hey, I have a subscription and have been reading the mag since '85. If even 1% of their claims came true, we would all be riding sport quads with IRS, EFI and 12" of travel both ends. Lets just say they like to speculate. I'm still waiting to buy Yamaha's answer to the Quadracer! I mean they said it was coming out in '86, '87, '88, '89... you get the idea.

 

I have heard that zuki and kawi will both have a 450 race quad but it will not be an alliance bike. Both are doing their own thing. I expect to see an all kawi 450 racer for 2005.

 

Thought it'd be funny to pull a few old KFX 450 threads up in honor of Kawi's 07 release.
