how long should i run conventual oil?

Default how long should i run conventual oil?

how long should i run regular oil and allow the engine to break in before switching to synthetic?

I switched from conventional oil to Mobil 1 at the first oil change (60 mi.) I've sinced raced a few times and ridden many with no problems. Good luck.

According to the oil companys you can go with syn oil from mile 01. The syn oil will still let the rings seat.

I remember a post on thumpertalk.com that said 20 miles is enough( written by a honda factory roadrace mechanic )

Did mine at the first service.....10 hrs about 100 miles.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] No problems yet.
