rate on the prairie 360 4x4

I have a 350 bruin and don't feel under powered at all.We ride 2 up in the Ozark Mtns and go up and down these hills with no problems at all. If you like the 360 go for it. If speed is your main concern, go for a 400 or larger. lol

prairie 360
pros
low cost to buy
excellent traction in all conditions
simple...easy to work on
reliable...after 2 years so far no problems
not underpowered, unless you race on mile long roads on the wide open badlands
best atv value for $5000.00 imo.
cons
geared a little too high without a secondary spring swap.
only one reverse gear ratio...its a little too high
no gauges...if your into instrumentation your outa luck
air cooled
having to pull and disassemble secondary clutch to adjust belt tension. do able but a pita.
not a lot of aftermarket accessories...if your into add ons.
if your budget is larger, there are superior machines out there, but you will be over $6500

One correction to your con's, the 360 does have a gauge, it's a speedomoter & digital hour, trip, & odomoter, it'a about $100 bucks from Kawi & real easy to install.. It's absolutely idiotic kawi does not install these things on there machine's stock, I have no doubht it's hurting there sales significantly on a minor thing like this, shoot kawi if your such cheep ace's just bump the price $100

Always,
So have you made up your mind yet? I was curious about what you've decided. Bottom line is, and I think most who have contributed to this thread will agree, that you will not be disappointed in buying a P 360.
Good luck in whatever you decide!

By no means was I trying to discourage anyone from buying a 360. It is a excellent quad.
You will not be unhappy with it.
If it had compression ratio of 9.5 or so, it would be a lot better quad though.
But Kawi had it's reasons for using that ratio.
