Default Tire Recommendation for P700

I am looking to replace my stock tires. They are brand new but I know fron my 02 P650 how loosy the tires are so I am seeling them from the get go to buy new ones. I want tires to mount on the stock rims. I am looking for 6 ply's that are better in the mud that the Dunlops but also have good trail manors. I had 26" ITP 589's on my P650. I loved the mud traction but hated the floatiness at higher speeds on the trails. I also want to shoot some sick rooster tails . Recommendations anyone?

Maxxis Mudbugs. Prolly the best all purpose tire made. Trail very well. Mud with anything but Outlaws, EDLs or mudzillas, six ply, and will last prolly as long as the bike.

As CARTMAN said, the Mud Bugs would work OK, but will probably handle about like the 589's, at speed... IMO, the Mud Lites are a great tire for mid sized quads, but on a machine as powerfull as the Prairie, if you are roosting like you mentioned, they will wear out very quickly... The ATR's are one of the best trail tires, however they will not go though mud any better, & IMO will go through less mud than the Dunlops... With what you listed as what you want to do, my 1st choice for tires would be the Goodyear Mudrunners... they are a little more expensive, but IMO worth every penny... they wear like iron, will high speed trail ride better than any of the mud tires, & will out mud all but the best of the specialty mud tires... this tire is very under rated, & IMO, is one of the very best all purpose tires...
