My brothers 400 Prairie (all time 4X4) A-arm and the right side snapped in two this weekend
We rode all day in the dunes, and when loading it on the trailer to go home the front tire just popped out! I looked down thier and the bottom A-arm was broken in two. I am greatfull that it didnt happen while he was riding it in the dunes, but this quad has had a good life, it is never been jumped are pounded through trails, But my bro did go off a 10 dune last year and all though the quad never rolled he hit hard enough to bend the handle bars and through him off. we never thought twice about the Quad cause it always drove the same after that, but I guess the A-arms must have been cracked all this time, and finally gave out on the trailer the other day.
Anyways, is it best to go back stock? or do they make a after-market A-arm kit for this quad? Does anyone know how much a stock A-arm cost for this thing?
thanks,
Bigger.
