First P 700 modification???
First mod should be removing that old Polaris from your sign. LOL (That's not fair but everyone around here got rid of the 400 because of all the problems all of them were having). No seriously first mod for me was extra gas tank carrier. I'm not modding mine until June and I really don't know what I'm going to do because I like it stock... But I know the front shocks are going because I have never had anything but stock shocks before.

First P 700 modification???
Really depends on what your main objective & riding type is?
The following Mods all come to mind:
DG Snorkle/NAPA Hose
DG (or other) Holeshot Module
Good TIRES! best suited for your riding conditions
Black Spring (for > Belt Life)
Red Spring (for snap out of the hole - not really for trailriding)
Aftermarket Exhaust (or) DIY NYROC Mod. (sugest you try it prior to buying a system)
Front Suspension (Progressive spring kit is the most cost effective solution/improvement)

they raised the price since I was involved in buying any. It is now $25.
the red is for real power applications, steep hill climbing, huge tires, mud bogs.
the black is the best all around spring for improving performance.
the white and green are wimpy.

First P 700 modification???
Yes the 650 spring and the 700 spring are the same, as the clutches are the same.
The engines are the same, except for displacement.
I don't know about primary spring changes on Prairies, I don't think I have heard of anyone doing so,
but V-force owners do change the
primary springs. I think they do so for different reasons than prairie owners. I would only
change one or the other not both. I believe most recommend the primary change for V-Forces
and a secondary change for Prairies.
Yes I would put 27" tires in the monster category. Anything more than 1" larger than stock
will cause a change in performance. The black spring will improve that, but the red spring
will surpass it. The red is a bit severe for everyday trail use though. It's use could be
akin to changing a rear sprocket by several teeth.
The stock spring is more like the white. If I am not mistaken the white is a replacement for stock,
with minor improvements.

BLACK SPRING IS IN THE SECONDARY PULLY = BELT LIFE ONLY (NO PERFORMANCE GAINS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL)RED SPRING AND VARIOUS OTHER COLORS GO IN THE FRONT OR PRIMARY PULLY FOR HIGHER ENGAGEMENT.As far as performance goes id do the snorkel change filter change exhaust mod and jetting. You will be happy with that.
