Default P700 CAM TIMING

I'VE BEEN READING ABOUT THE 10* ADVANCED CAM TIMING AND WAS WOUNDERING IF A GUY COULD JUMP THE CAM SPROCKETS 1 TOOTH EACH OR IS THAT GOING TO BE WAY TO MUCH RETARDING? WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK ABOUT IT? DOES ANYONE KNOW IT THESE ARE INTERFERANCE ENGINES (BENT VALVES IS THE LAST THING THAT ONEONE NEEDS) ANY SUGGESTIONS?

One tooth on the cam sprocket is 10.6deg at the cam
BUT cam duration is measured at the crank so that is times 2 or 21.2 deg retarted from where it is now
