I start with 20x11x10 - 10 paddle skat trak extreme's, then 22x11x10 - 10 paddle skat traks, and finally 24x11x10 - 9 paddle skat trak extreme's on 11 inch wid rims. IMO the only way to go!!!!

I run 22inch 8 paddle Skat-Trak Edge (V Paddle) sand tires. For me, they work GREAT. They go anywhere, and I have no trouble climbing even the biggest and steepest dunes.

So I'm new to all this
I have a green 04 700
haven't ever been to the Dunes before but was wondering does your own body weight have any part to play in this
I mean the 700 is a big boy to begin with and you pretty much wanna "float" on the sand right?
so wouldn't you want the lightest fattest tire out there? do V paddles work better for the 700 or straight paddles. I'm not really trying to race anyone but would liike a pretty good all around tire. but don't wanna spend a fortune either. This is kinda silly but could I run 20x11x10's?
has anyone had any incounters with roosters, sand sharks, gliders, trakkers, or paddle masters
also I live up in Colorado and i am planning on going to Walden to go ride. I have heard that the Geckos are good on smaller quads
but suck on our bikes.
Just curious thanks guys
