KFX or YFZ?
The 450 sits lower and the suspension is set up in a way that it doesnt feel as wheelie happy (like was said b4) and has much different ergos etc, so it should feel a lot more capable of higher performance. The issue with the higher rpm predjudice power still remains and just isnt what many people want.
Sure that extra hard high end hit is a blast and part of the reason I love many 2strokes etc but its not all ways the fastest set up for every rider and like I said earlier its more tireing to ride also.
I mean c'mon we cant all have the same machine be our best overall choice, and I still recomend many to check out the warrior and 300ex as these machines fit their abilities and needs better and leave a lot of $$ in their pocket.
When did all this I have to get the fastest quad stuff start affecting everyones brain? I remember when I decided to get the EX I have now to replace my warrior (still have the warrior though) and it was all about suspension and handling not power. Sure there was a power diff but I know if I could make the 400 as fast as just about all the other quads etc I could have done the same with the warrior, but it would have been a pain to try to get the warrior to handle.
Would you believe sometimes I actually still enjoy riding my mostly stock old warrior over my modded EX on slower trails or rocky terrain? OK so if the speeds are higher there is no comparison and my choice is allways the honda but my point is I can have a lot of fun just being out there messing around with the older slower machine that you could buy just about anyware for a reasonable price, and your riding period and isnt that the whole idea anyhow.

Thats a very good point 440. I admit I was on the bandwagon too about having to have the best machine out at tghe time. But I could have bought a used 400ex or even a new 300ex (although my 215 lbs would be a bit much for it, but could have modded it and had a very fun and capable machine. But when everyone else is getting the new stuff then its hard, especially on our younger patrons, to settle for less. But, just to end on the main topic at hand again......buy the KFX!!!!!!!
