First I was shocked on the write-up no mention of the kawi at all. Liked how it made me feel how this twinpeak is brand new. I think the blue is really blue.... kinda like it.

The specs said 34.3kW/6,500 rpm ? is the 34 horse? 6500 rpm sounds high. I take it this is the same on the kawi700? Or is the suzuki a little less restricted from factory?

and what's up with this: "unique braking system which employs 7 discs housed in a sealed oil bath working like a clutch to produce friction when the brake is applied.... " Do we really have seven discs back there? How many does the 650 have?

a water drain hole is provided on the drive-side cover, and an air intake passage under the handlebars routes cooling air to the CVT unit. I never had to looked at the Kawi for one.

34.3 kW = 45.997 hp. It is the same machine except color and zuki badge.

Yes, you have the unique 7 wet disk braking and everything.

Suzuki is going to make a 700cc single cylinder with IRS (more for utility). I haven't read whether they will still sell the twin peaks. I suspect they will.

Nyroc,
Nice to see you back I knew your fingers couldn't keep you away from the forum page. A little off topic but what do you think of the HL module, have you had a chance to wonder over to HL at all. I was wondering if you think there might some more smoke being released what are your thoughts. You had in the past at least, a strong view on these modules I am curious to see what your impression of the new one is?????

I have read everything in the other forums about the HL module. I don't know for sure. I see the module is another speed sensor input device like we all have and have all tested. However, HL doesn't seem to be the kind of establishment to mislead their customers. Is it possible that they know something about the CDI that the DG tech doesn't know?

I would like to say that I really hope that high lifter actually has found a way to get more ponies. I not sure who to believe yet.

the High Lifter module is still a frequency module ( similar to the other modules ), it is however one of the most refined modules out there, & no doubt will offer more power than the first modules released... ALLTOY's is correct, however in that 28* is only 28*...according to sources at HL, they had placed the 1st order for modules, when the designer called & said he had discovered how to get even more power out of the module...he sent them 4 modules with different frequencies than the orgininal, & one "special" one... one of the modules was adjustable ??? at this point I would think that the frequency was adjustable ??? ...which they tested on thier dyno... the most powerful one ( frequency ??? )was reordered for HL's customers... I was talking to HL at the time that a tech came into the office & said that the module they were testing at the time made a significant power increase over the old ones... so... I don't know which module frequency they selected, but look for even better published dyno results on the new modules
