03 360 dies
#1
My brother has the login name and it is true
My 2003 360 will start cold, idle for about 1 min and then die
when given throttle. If I let it idle for any longer it will die on its own.
when I start riding and slow down to go over a rough spot in the trail it
will die when I let of off the throttle. If I keep the throttle at
about 1/3 or more sometimes it will stay running. When it dies I have
to choke it and then it might start. More often that not I need
to turn the machine off wait for at least 30 secs. and than start it.
Even after it is warm it will do the same thing. ANY IDEALS HELP
A friend said it could be a fuel/air mix problem but could find no adjs.
on carb.

No need for worry, very common problem. The solution is richen up the air/fuel mixture, the screw is right under the carb & you'll either need kawi special tool to get to it, or I just use a small standard screw driver bit to get up there, or you can just take the carb off & adjust it. Your problem sounds a little more sevire, there's a good chance you need to adjust your valve, specifically your exhaust valve, mine did the same thing & I was about ready to blow it up, but turns out the exhaust valve had just about closed up & after the adjustment she ran beutifully, this also is a very common problem on the 360
