Front diff. oil???

Default Front diff. oil???

Just a quick question guys what do you run in your front diff ???.My owner's manual said 10w40 the dealer said 80w90 .I know the rearend takes special oil because of the brakes I would like to change it, thank's Skun ....... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Default Front diff. oil???

I have used Mobil 80/90 in my diffs since '99 with no troubles.

Lets just say I would believe the owners manual be for some guru and the dealer. Go with the 10w40 regular or synthetic is what I use.

Default Front diff. oil???

Still new to this sight, only 40 hours on machine, but at 100 hours I will replace engine-tranny-and front end with mobil-1 10w40---I need every little advantage I can get on a 360

Default Front diff. oil???

I read on the forum about using synthetic, and went with that, 75-90w gear oil. Steering is easier and the dif lock works well. You can do a search and read up on it.
