Default NEED REPLACEMENT AXLE BEARING FOR V...

im going to put an axcaliber axle in my v but you cant buy the axle bearing from the dealer.so,can anyone tell what they have done to replace this bearing.i dont want to remove the stock bearing in case i need the stock for a back up.so does anyone know where to get a replacement bearing.theres a bearing place near by i just need a cross reference # to give them or brand name and part # of the stock bearing and they could take care of the rest.

Chop, didn't you get a Durablue axle back in Dec.? Did you send it back. I recall that HomeDawg also had ordered a axle, how did he get around this problem. I want to order on as well but are waiting for all the answers first!

I spent a little more money and bought a rpm axle and this thing changes the bearing completly and it now uses tappered bearing and a spacer plate. Gives you that extra custom look and a better setup.

Mx700 where did you order the RPM axle from? Does it have a no bend warranty? Did it feel much lighter than stock? How was the install?

I think that it is about the same weight as the stock axle. I think that it was supposed to be a 2 plus 2 but I am not sure if that is correct. I know that the width on the wide setting makes it 48.5 inches with realitors on the back (snow tires HAHA). I purchased it from roll design this is the only axle they would recommend to me. I think the cost was in the pricey range for an axle though but you pay for quality. the custom billet spacer for the new berring turns heads. I think that it was right about $600. As for warrenty I think that it was but I purchased this axle about 4 months ago and cann't remember now. I think it was one of the first ones bucause the cerial number on it was a really low number.
