Default bayou 185 help brakes

does anyone know how to remove rear drum??it wont move....i heated it banged it is it supposed to just slide off or spin off? thanks alpine

Assuming you took off the two lock nuts and the cover the drum should slide off the axle. It's probably corroded and dirty on the splines. Clean them as best you can.

Default bayou 185 help brakes

I have the same problem. I ended up prying and banging it until it broke free but I also broke the backing plate. Be careful but they are tough. I am trying to find out if you can interchange parts now. I have found a backing plate for a 1997 Bayou but I don't know if it will fit on a 2001 Bayou. Good luck
