more lakota problems!!!!!!!!!!!!

my 02 lakota when it warms up and i keep it at a steady pace...it will make a noise like something is winding up...after it makes the noise it will just shut! can anybody help me???????????????????????????

need more detailes like where the noise is comming from, what it sounds like. try to be more specific
