2000 Bayou 220?
#1
Got a line on a 2000 220, pretty close to mint condition. $2000. Good buy for this? From reading past messages it seems most agree the 220 is a great little quad for the money.
Thanks,
Rob

Rob,
I have a 2002 Bayou 220. I bought it new for $3000 out the door in the fall of 2001. I would say $2000 for a year 2000 model is a tad high, unless it was in "showroom" condition. It is a four year old bike and must have been riden somewhat. Or if it has sat sat too long without use it may need some tuning up anyway.
Depending on how available good used quads are in your neck of the woods, I would offer about 20% less ($1500 - $1600) and see what happens.
Buying and selling prices are only determined by how bad the seller wants to unload something and how bad a buyer wants to buy something.
Anyway, good luck. A nicely maintained Bayou will last a long time and provide years of enjoyment.
