No he is not, there was a CDI topic started about the Dyna CDI.

HL emailed me and asked me to call them so they can tell me some facts about their module. I think it is because I am still skeptical about it.

I don't want to be rude to them, but I dont want to talk. I want some more test results. I wanna see tests of the reds, nabor, kuny, or DG module side by side with it.

I would really like to see the Dyna CDI in tests side by side against machines with holeshots. Now, I am not doubting Dyna's CDI, I just wanna see the results.

Highlifter will never let this news hit their forums. They just did figure out what a module can do for the Prairie, and have been pushing it hard as a "never before seen on Planet Earth" kind of device. I want to see how they will downplay the new igniter. I can't wait to test one myself.

I emailed DYNA to see if I could get a release date and final cost. I shall see if they will send an answer to me. I'm Like you Nyroc A little sceptical at this point. I'm not scared to spend the cash if I get what I paid for.

I run dyna's igntions on my banshee and they are exceptional. Plug and play performance.

Havinsomefun, I'm like you. I need to know those things. Right now I have an order in for an HL module. It won't be sent out at least until Monday and they haven't drafted my money yet. I need to know if I should cancel that order and wait on the new CDI. If it is too expensive, I may go with the HL for now and buy it later on. Or if it's cheap enough, I'll cancel my order for the HL and wait for the CDI.

I also e-mailed Dyna about the price of their new cdi today. If it turns out that it costs $300 plus, then it might be cheaper for me to just install a fly wheel key to advance the timing (and compliment the DG holeshot I currently have). I'm guessing the DG holeshot plus a timing key will result in very similar results to the new dyna cdi (but for less money).

I don't believe Dyna's cdi feature that adds a few rpm to the rev limiter will benefit my quad in particular as I never hit the rev limiter in high range anyway. But I'm sure this feature might help others, especially folks with a big bore kit like Mike W./Newbeetle.

Happy trails...

remember this though the timing advances all the way to the limiter 9200 and i think prairies goes to 6500-7000. now with your key when it retards at 6500 or so you're back to what ever the timing is before it advances stock +6*. i guess i am saying that if this cdi doesn't retard all the way to 92 hundred, your holeshot and key is still going to retard your timing after 6500-7000 rpm. i am however not saying the improvement from 6500 to 9200 would be worth more than the key and holeshot you have.
